Part 16

It had passed almost two months and a half since that party where I met the most beautiful and interesting man ever! I couldn’t believe that the best summer in my life with the only person that I could feel free and be myself was coming to the end..why all the wonderful and special things have to be over soon? Why life is so hard? Why life is so unfair??

These couple of weeks passed so fast that I didn’t realised that it was 5 of August- one day left till my birthday.. In about two weeks it would be the last week of the summer, it would be the last days of me and Eric together.. After August he is going back to Greece where he has his parents, his friends and all of that and I.. I’m gonna continue live my life just like I did before, like all these magic moments with him never had happened.. I’m gonna stuck in this place for ever…

How am I gonna forget all of these? How can continue my life without him? I’m not the same person anymore, I have changed, I used to be with him now and if he leave it will be like someone is cutting me in the half. I know it’s ridiculous but that’s the way I feel now. I’m nothing without him!

The previous night we were lying on our beach and staring at the stars falling. It was a beautiful night, we had been there for hours but we didn’t get bored, we were talking and laughing when…

“Hey look at that!” he said pointing at a star which was falling.
“Wow, that was a big one!” I said amazed.
“Make a wish!” he told me warmly.
I closed my eyes and did what he told me but I didn’t opened them…
“Wow you have a lot of wishes I guess!” he chuckled.
“You guess wrong.. It‘s only one! I am just saying it over and over again!” I opened my eyes and looked at him.
“You must want it a lot!” he smiled looking back at me.
I nodded “Yes..” I whispered.
“Hmm..”
I chuckled “what?”
“I‘m curious, what you wished?” he whispered and then he grinned at me.
“Forget it! It wont come true if I tell you!” I said gigling.
“Oh Ok then..” he said crossing his arms under his head.
“Did you make a wish?” I said and I pulled myself up on my elbow so that I could see his marvelous face better.
He chuckled “Yeah!..I had a lot of wishes tonight actually..”
“So I‘m not the one who has a big list of wishes huh?” I laughed.
He chuckled “No, probably not!” he said fodling my cheek going all over my chin as he pulled it forward so he could kiss me.
Then I pulled myself on top of him and I was holding his face in my hands as his fingers knocked in my hair and we began kissing passionately. Suddenly he rolled to the side till he hovered over me and my heart was hammering so loudly that it was hard to hear even the sea waves.
His warm lips pressed under my jaw as my arms tightened around his neck and in all of a sudden his hand curved around my elbow, moving slowly down my arm, across my ribs and over my waist, tracing along my hip and down my leg, around my knee pausing there. Without explanation I started sweating, although his warm body and the hot temperature I felt cold and I stayed still not moving at all. Though my breath was so loud like gasping that it was hard not to pay attention to it.
“You’re trembling. Are you ok?” Eric said as he pulled back-he put his hands one to the left and one to the right beside my head touching the sand -to see me better.
“I‘m..ok..” I said and I chuckled “I don‘t know why…” I sighed “sorry… I‘m ruining everything” I said touching my forehead which was burned like I had fever.
“You are nervous?… I‘m not gonna do anything unless you want it” he said fondling my cheek.
“I know.. It‘s just..that..I want it!” I said and I gulped looking him in his beautiful eyes that at that moment opened shockingly.
“You serious?” he said with disbelief in his voice.
I nodded still anxious though.. My heart was hammering so fast that it was going to break out in a moment.
He smiled and he sighed slowly “You‘re not ready yet..” he said and he rolled back so that we were on our sides again.
I pulled my self up so that I was sitting on the sand now and I looked at him “but I want to!” I said seriously.
He was still lying on the sand “yes because you are overheated, it‘s normal. It happens when you are so close with somebody but that doesn‘t mean that you are ready for this!” he said smiling.
I narrowed my eyes “You don‘t want me?” I whispered and my heart started hammering again.
“Are you serious?” he laughed once and he pulled himself up so that he was sitting like me. “Of course I do, you silly! You have no idea!”
I said nothing.
“What? You don‘t believe me?”
I shook my head and I sighed deeply “So why you…”
“Carol…” he interrupted me “You‘ve been known me only for two months..” he said fondling my hair.
“Yes but I feel like I‘ve known you for ages.. haven‘t you feel the same?” I said looking at him blushing.
“Yes, and you know that, since the second day! But you are not ready yet.. and I‘m not gonna use you.”
I was starring down now and the blush had returned. Then Eric sighed. He touched my chin and he pulled my face up until I have to look at him.
“What now?”
“Nothing” I mumbled.
And then suddenly I was in his arms, my face cradled between his shoulder and his hand, while his thumb stroked reassuringly against my cheek.
“you don’t believe me!”he said shocked.
“No I believe you.. I guess… ” I said tightening my arms over his waist “Just give me a minute to work with the rejection!”
He laughed “You are unbearable! But I love you” he said kissing my forehead.
That time my heart stopped beating.. Did I hear right? “What did you say?” I asked and pulled back to see him.
He smiled and he stroked my cheek “I said I love you” he answered with the most beautiful soft and gentle voice!
And I became stiff. I was so still that I wasn’t sure I was still breathing. I wanted to say so much but I couldn’t! It was just unachievable!
“Are you ok? You became pale!” he said anxiously.
“I…love…you…too” I said brathelessly.
He hugged me and kissed softly my lips as he lead down to my ear to murmur “I know..” he said chuckling.
I snorted and when his face turned toward mine with the slow movement of his indecision, I twisted quickly in his arms till my lips reached his.
Then I paused and pulled back “Do you want to go for a swim?” I said cheerfully.
He narrowing his eyes half smiling “you know your moods kind of tangle me!”
“Are you coming or not?” I said standing up.
“In the middle of the night? The water must be freezing!” he pointed out.
“Freezing?” I scoffed. “Let me know something more about Capitola‘s water ok?” I said chuckling.
“Ugh..ok.. Always stubborn..” he said as I helped him stand up.
“Uh-ha! Right! Like you are not!”
He half smiled “Trust me it‘s for your own good!” he murmured.
I grimaced “So mysterious, like always!” I said and I ran into the warm dark water.
He kept starring me like he was thinking something but then I interrupted his thoughts “Hey, come on! It‘s not cold!” I shouted.
He chuckled “I know. You would be the hell running out of it, if it was! You‘re not used to cold temperature!” he teased smiling crookedly as he was getting into the water.
“Yeah yeah.. Whatever!”
“Don‘t say whatever to me!” he teased and throw some water to my way playfully and then we were playing cheerfully like children into the beautiful sea under the wanterful shiny light of the stars.

i'm so miserable these days because my laptop fell of my hands when i was about to transfer it on my desk and something broke in it and it can't work.. my whole life was in there!! and my dad said that i may loose my datas!! ugh...can you imagine it? pictures, videos, dvds, music, MY STORY!!!! everything would be gone!!! God!! why am i so damn clumsy! my luck sucks, and my life will suck if my laptop wont be repaired soon!

so i can't put an other part right now.. i just hope my laptop be repaired soon and all will be in there places again as before..=/

I really hope that you don't loose your everything. It wouldn't be nice at all. I don't know what i would do if my laptop would go broken. But i wouldn't loose everything because i have extra memory where i have put all my pics and music...

So Oly, how's your laptop doing?

well... it was fixed but unfortunately all my datas are gone!...so did my story..
my dad gave the disk (you know that hard disk witch is in every pc or laptop) to a friend of him who knows about these things and we hope he will be able to fix it!
ugh..=/ i'm really dissapointed of my luck! i had 5 new parts there! and they were soooo good..

i guess i will wait a little longer to see if there is any chance and if not...i'm gonna start over again writing..=/

Part 17

“Carol??? Hey?!! Hellooooo!!!” Jessica was standing next to me looking worried for not answering her. I had kind of daydreaming thinking for hours under the wood roof of the house porch, standing and looking at the horizon in front of me. Jessica had to be there for a lot of minutes trying to ‘wake me up’ but she couldn’t help it since I didn’t realize that she was there.
“Em.. what?” I said dully and I looked at her.
“Where have your mind girl? I’ve been calling you for hours!”
“Well.. I was just standing there and thinking…about life..you know..” I said and I looked away again.
She touched my forehead “are you ok? What happened?” she sounded little confused.
“Everything is fine..i’m-” I sighed “-fine”
“Er..obviously it’s not! So are you gonna tell me what are you thinking before I get crazy?” she said a bit louder and I turned around to face her.
I sighed again “I guess you know me good enough to lie to you so I have nothing to say but the truth..”
“heh! What can I say, it’s a gift! So bring it all!”
“Well…i was thinking about the days…passing…you know, it’s August!” I said shrugging.
“So??...”
“So.. I was thinking about me…and Eric…” I said, though I whispered his name- it caused me pain for now on- and I looked at her in the eyes .
“Oh” it was the only thing she could say, because she knew that this was gonna end too, she knew that this fairytale of mine was gonna show the end lines and the two words “the end” but without a good ending…not for me at list!
My eyes immediately got full of tears and at that moment I turned my head away from hers so that she couldn’t see that, but unlucky..
“Oh honey.. please don’t be like this.. I know that this is hard for you but I’m sure that you will find a way to-” she tried to say.
“A way? What way? Do you really understand what is happening Jessica? Do you? I mean everything for you is simple and fine! But for me…do you know how it feels waking up in the morning feeling miserable and hate every part of the day that comes to the end knowing that the moments with the one you love are over? ” I was sobbing now unable to see clearly through the unstopped tears.
“I know…Carol and I’m sorry…i-” she said with bleeding eyes.
“I lo- ove hi- im” I sobbed looking at her like I was trying to ask help.
“Aw honey..” she said and she hugged me “maybe you can find a way… I know it’s hard but you really can..you can wait for him till the next summer..it’s only one year..and then you’ll be free, you can go to a college in Greece and you can be together!”
I shook my head before she finished her words “a year is too long for a relationship to stand by..” I said more clearly now but the tears shouldn’t give up so I cleaned my face with the back of my hand.
“Did you talk to him?” Jessica said and she pulled back to see me.
“No..i don’t want to lose my days with him discussing that” I took a deep breath.
“Yes, but if you talk to him I believe he’ll find a way girl –he would do anything for you and you know that” she said half smiling.
“But I don’t want to force him to stay! I would be so selfish if I did such a thing!”
“Maybe you don’t need to force him, maybe he has already made up his mind! You can’t know if you don’t speak to him..” she said shrugging.
“Well..yeah..i guess you’re right..” I said looking at my fingers.
“So do you promise me you’ll talk to him?- I know is hard but please find the courage to speak, I don’t want to see you like this!- And it’s your birthday tomorrow for God’s sake!” she said louder than before making a move with her arms.
“Okay..i will, I’m going to his house today so I will have the chance” I said still at the same mood.
“Perfect! ” she said cheerful, she hugged me once again and then pulled back “smile! Everything is gonna be fine! I have a feeling!” she grinned at me.
I chuckled “yeah right! With my own luck…I doubt it!” but when I saw the face she made, I spoke again “but I promise! I will talk to him!”
“and you’ll bring up again your pretty shine face you had few days ago!” she added for me.
I sighed “ok..” and I half smiled.
“Anyway, I have to go now..my mom is gonna freak out! I have been out for hours!” she said as she was moving towards the stairs of the porch.
“Ok bye!..” I waved to her “and I’m sorry..for..you know..”
She scoffed “please, don’t be ridiculous!” she said and then she left leaving me again in my own thoughts..

I surely would have the same thing in my mind! Now I'm misserable (I can't even remember how to spell that) too!!! But it was an AMAZING PART Can't wait for the next one! I hope we won't have to wait so long till then
