Part 7 (Sorry, I think it's kinda small xD)
One week past and Rose’s still not talking to me. And the weird thing was, that Joe was like best buddies with David. I think they’re up to something.
“Hey Lily, you ok?” it was David.
“Huh? Yeah, I’m fine, you?”
“I’m fine, wanna go out today?”
“Yeah sure, where?”
“Wanna come over to my house?”
“Huh? What?”
“If you want to, you could come over to my house. Nobody will be there. We’ll watch some TV, talk a bit, nothing special”
“Yeah, sure”
“Gotta go, I have PE”
“See you, have fun”
“You too”
Yeah, right, as if anyone, anyone at all could have fun at chemistry. I got in the classroom and the first person I saw was Rose. When she saw me she turned her look away. I sat to my seat, next to Mike, disgusting, and that’s when I saw someone in front of me. It was Rose. She was holding one of the vials we were using for experimenting. And suddenly, everything that was inside the vial was on my shirt.
“Rose? Why did you do that?”
But Rose was not answering, just looking at me with that empty I’m-flying-out-of-space-right-now look, and she got me so mad that I pushed her, and then the fight started. On the one side I was hearing the kids shouting and laughing, and on the other side Mr Brown shouting to stop. It was awful, and the last thing before being kicked out of class was “TO THE PRINCIPAL RIGHT NOW, YOU BOTH”
Jeez how could this happen to me? ME? Lily to the principal’s office? I don’t even know which way it is. We got there, and knocked the door.
“Come in”
“Excuse us sir, Mr Brown told us to come.”
“What happened?”
“Nothing actually...” started Rose talking.
“We kinda had a little fight”
And that’s when I saw Rose looking at me with that let’s-get-out-of-here-and-you’ll-see look. And what have I done? I just told the truth for God’s sake.
“Is everything ok? Did you break any bones? Everything’s in place?”
Huh? I told him we had a fight in the classroom and he was asking if we were injured?
“Yeah, we’re fine; won’t you punish us or something?”
“No! Why should I? Everything’s ok, apart from your blouse obviously, so why punishing you for something that had no effect on you or the classroom, I just want you to say sorry to each other and you may leave”
Huh? Just that?
“I’m sorry Rose”
“Me too”
Huh? She actually means it? What the heck? I thought we weren’t friends now.
“You may leave young ladies, and I hope the only day I’m going to see you again is for good news”
“Thank you Sir”
And we got out of the class.
“Rose... you ok?”
“Don’t talk to me you baka”
And she just left? Pfff...she’s so stupid... and should call herself baka, not me!

“Hey Lily, I’m glad you came”
“Your house is very nice Dave, I was so little when I came here for the last time”
“Yeah, that’s true, have a seat, want to drink something?”
“Anything cold is fine”
“We have juice, cola and beer”
“Yeah, I’ll take the beer” He actually believed me? Jeez where’s his humour when you need it? “I’m kidding, I’ll take the juice”
“Oh...cool”
Their living room is so big! Ours is like a tiny, tiny part of it! And the fireplace with the photographs...
“Here’s your juice”
“Thanks, is that you?”
“Yeah, I was six and dressed up as Dracula, I didn’t like it, but my mom... you know how moms are”
“Yeah, I know, you’re really cute you know” I turned around and smiled. Ok... he really was closer than I thought he was...*inhale* *exhale* *inhale* *exhale* I have to remember.
“Lily? Are you ok?”
“Yeah sure, I’m... fine” I said and smiled to support my words.
“So... what do you want to do?”
“Dunno, don’t you have a plan or something?”
“I was thinking about a movie, but it kinda gets a bit all-times-the-same-thing”
“No, I’d like to see a movie, which one?”
“Hmmm... we’ll have to think about it, what kind of movie do you want to see?”

And that’s when we sat down on the couch together to watch the movie... jeez I was so nervous...what now? And a few minutes later...

“I know that” I wish it were so easy and simple.
“Come here” he said and pulled me closer. I put my feet on the sofa to be more comfortable and before I knew it I was laying in the sofa with my head on his feet watching the movie. That was so amazing. I could feel his fingers passing through my hair every now and then. But before I knew it the movie had come to an end.
“Lily? Are you asleep?” I heard him whisper.
“No, I’m awake...sorry for putting you on the corner” I said and got up.
“It’s ok, I don’t mind. So, how did you like the movie?”
“Oh...it was great, the story, and the characters. I could never leave away from the man I love so much.”
“Do you really mean that?”
“Yeah, it’s just unbearable.”
“Then come here” he said and hugged me while pulling me on his side.
And just when I thought something was kinda awkward he like reading my mind started tickling me.
“Hey stop it”
“No I won’t” he said and out of laughter we fell on the floor and he...he...kissed me?! Ok, I know he’s my boyfriend but I just can’t get used to it when he kisses me. And then he suddenly got up.
“Lily, we have to talk”
“What’s wrong?” I said and sat on the ground.
“It’s about Rose”
“Huh?”
“I think you really shouldn’t have had a fight just because of me, it makes me feel bad, I beg you to make up with her”
“But... you don’t know what happened in chemistry today”
“Yes, I know, Joe told me, and he also told me that it was by mistake, that Vicky accidentally pushed Rose just when she was about to apologize and... what happened next”
“Yeah right, why should I believe what Rose says?”

And that’s how that day came to an end!
